Working in a fun, motivated team you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse, which involves lifting loads of up to 45kg (2 man lift). Accuracy is paramount as you will be dealing with product values of up to £10k.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative: 

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Perform quality checks
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Personal attributes of the Warehouse Operative: 

  • Must be physically fit due to large amount of heavy lifting – up to 45kg loads on two men lift
  • Computer literate
  • Attention detail
  • An eye for colour would be good – must be able to spot product faults
  • Able to work around all of warehouse roles – goods in, quality control, picking, packing, despatch
  • Full driving licence due to requirements to drive company van to London on occasions
