A degree-standard qualification is here for Recruiters

The Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) has launched a degree-standard qualification for the first time ever this January. They have kick started the New Year with the only industry-relevant qualification at degree level. The Level 5 Diploma in Recruitment Leadership (DipRL) is an ideal course designed for senior managers and directors within the recruitment industry, with added emphasis on business planning and financial management. The IRP states that:

‘It will increase your personal effectiveness by providing practical and authoritative learning that will add value to the service you provide to clients and candidates. It also provides the knowledge to establish improved processes and efficiencies within your own business’ states the IRP.

The qualification came from feedback from recruiters asking for this. The IRP’s head of qualifications Richard Charnock says “It’s an exciting time… For the first time we’re going outside what our Level 3 and Level 4 diplomas have offered.”

The diploma is said to be taught “collegiate-style”, and students will be enrolled into groups who will be assisted by a dedicated study coach. The course is said to take no longer than 2 years to complete and people can go at their own working pace.

How many of you will embrace 2016 by enrolling?
